| Benjamin's Restaurant & Inn
About 135 years later, in January of 1987 Benjamin's Restaurant & Inn was opened as part of the renowned Stone Crock Group of Restaurants. The original hand-hewn beams, brick and mortar work of the Farmer's Inn were preserved during the extensive renovations, but it is highly unlikely that Joseph Eby would recognize the building today. On the main level there is a 120-seat restaurant with honey-tone exposed beams, stucco walls, three fireplaces, wrought iron fixtures and pine furnishings that create an intimate yet casual colonial atmosphere. Our chef has created an innovative menu using the freshest ingredients available, to give traditional items a unique and contemporary twist. Combined with the unique and relaxing atmosphere, this creates a memorable experience for all our guests. Entrees range from $9.95 to $13.95 for lunch and $16.95 to $34.95 for dinner. Upstairs there are nine guestrooms. Each tastefully decorated room has queen-sized beds adorned with quilts, a private bath, television, telephone, individual climate controls and traditional country furnishings. A continental breakfast is included with all rates and is served in our second floor veranda room overlooking the main street of the Village. It is not uncommon to see Mennonite horse and buggies pass by in the quiet of the morning hours.
Room rates range from $100.00 to $145.00, based on double occupancy (rates may vary seasonally). Reservations are necessary. Cancellation policy: guarantee with credit card or deposit with 72 hours notice of cancellation. |
