The Gallery showcases exciting examples of quilting excellence, with shows changing every few months.    Admission by donation. 

Be sure to visit during the Quilt & Fibre Art Festival held annually in May.

Electricity Exhibit

The story of electricity spans over 400 years.  Learn about early experiments with static electricity and the 200 years it took to produce light in the laboratory. Discover the St. Jacobs connection to the early commercial use of electricity and see the original turbine that provided electric power to the Mill and the Village at that time, as well as artifacts, photos and displays.

Model Train Exhibit

Hear the whistle blowin’ and see the charm of our rural past depicted in an HO scale model railway. Miniature scenes include farming, a barn raising, a Mennonite Meeting House and the Village of St. Jacobs circa 1940s. Also see a large display of “O” Scale trains and railroad memorabilia from the collection of Jan Gleysteen. Open daily. Admission by donation.

Neufeld Gallery

Dedicated to work by Woldemar Neufeld (1909-2002), the gallery opened during a year of centenary celebrations of Neufeld’s birth that included the publication of a collection of his paintings and block prints. To purchase the book visit our online store. Admission to the gallery by donation.
